Kaltura Personal Capture is available through Canvas. You do not need to have administrative access to your computer in order to download the software. The software is tied to your CSU eID and password. You only need to download the software once.
Downloading Kaltura Capture Software
- Log in to your Canvas account.
- Select any of your Canvas courses past or present that you have access to.
- Select the “My Media” link on your left side course navigation.
(If “My Media” is not available in the course navigation menu, an instructor will need to add it; for help, see How do I manage Course Navigation links?)
- Select the “Add New” button.
- Select the “Kaltura Capture” option.
- In the new screen select the download option that is compatible with your computer.
- Open the downloaded file and walk through the setup wizard.
- You should now have the follow Icon on your desktop and are ready to begin recording.
