This is a notice that each August and January we will send reminder messages regarding email accounts to users whose “email of record” (that is, what shows up for them in the directory, the GAL, WEID, etc.) is Office 365 and who also have an @Rams Google Apps account.
This reminder was developed in coordination with the Admissions office after receiving reports of users checking their non-default email account--and in some cases missing important communications. Recall that as of last August, all new eIDs are created with an O365 email account by default, but in support of teaching & learning, research, and other reasons the Google Apps accounts continue to be available as an opt-in for all users.
